Purdy Ormiston Email address: ormsdorm@hotmail.com Spouses name: Gary Ormiston Number of Children: 5 Number of Grandchildren: 6 Number of Great-Grandchildren: 7 Todays date: June 23, 2015 Comments or information: January 2014 we sold our log house of 38 years & bought a full time Winnebago “Tour” to park at a 1-1/2 acre site overlooking Curlew Lake to live on in the summer (June – September) and travel in to different Servant's On Wheels Everready (SOWER) projects in Arizona & Colorado the rest of the year. We are able to visit children in our travels: Tab & Jeff are in Port Orchard, Kristy is in Republic, Patti is in Silverdale, & Eric is in Denver, CO. We are enjoying life! We have been in Eastern WA now since 1974 & wouldn't go back to the congested, wet, west coast for any amount of money! We love it here with every type of recreation you can name in remote quiet beautiful areas all around us. We spend our time serving the lord, maintaining our house & property, staying in touch with our family and traveling in our RV, sometimes into Mexico, on missions, family and vacation trips. It has been fun & exciting. We have voluntarily taken the Curlew Job Corps students to church and I have worked there as a social services assistant off & on part-time since 2000. Gary works winters for the DOT - both places of employment have been wonderful ministries for us. This all keeps us joyful, fulfilled, happy & busy! Future plans: Todays date: July 2010 Comments or information: I just turned 68 and feel very blessed to have lived this long in heath to serve my lord of 28 years and to enjoy life with my husband Gary of 44 years.
