DARRELL M. BAUER
Darrell Michael Bauer, March 25, 1941-May 28, 2026, died peacefully in his sleep. Darrell loved the great outdoors, a scenic road trip, and a good adventure. He explored large swaths of the United States, Canada, and Alaska, often with his partner Carman as co-pilot. But no place beat his own backyard of the Olympic Peninsula, especially the beaches. His love of the outdoors included boating, hunting, fishing, clamming, and beer drinking. Darrell was fun loving, funny and we'll be missed greatly by all who have known him. He is survived by his wife Carman George Bauer, daughters Lynn Bauer and Mary Bauer of Portland, his only sibling Phyllis Stokke of Packwood, WA, and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at Point Julia beach on the Little Boston Reservation at 1:00pm on June 13, 2026.
