DAVID L. WHITBY

Dave L. Whitby  74 passed away peacefully at his Gig Harbor home on January 17, 2017. 

Dave was born on July 8, 1942 in Bremerton Washington the oldest son of Raymond and Donna Whitby. He graduated from South Kitsap High School in 1960.  He was in the National Guard before joining the Army. Dave retired from PSNS after 40 years of service in 2000, as a Physical Science Technician Supervisor.

Dave was an avid outdoors man who loved camping, snowmobiling, fishing along with wood working.

On August 31, 1992 he married Barb Hanna she survives him at the family home.  Dave is also survived by  his sons Dean Whitby , Ryan Grant.  Daughter Amy Grant.  Grandchildren who were the light of his life Nikolas Grant and Annika Grant. Brother Jim (Mary) Whitby, Moses Lake. Nieces Dawn and JoAnne.

He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Donna Whitby.

A memorial service will be held at Haven of Rest on Monday, January 30, 2017 at 3:00 pm.
